Stones Throw is located in the heart of historic Lakeside, Ohio, situated on the shore of Lake Erie between Toledo and Cleveland. Lakeside is a charming private community, based on the Chautauqua movement of the 19th Century. Lakeside comes alive every summer, with a season of programs providing a rich variety of experiences and activities. A gate fee is charged to enter the community to cover the cost of daily activities and entertainment. (Click here for 2005 prices.)

During the day, you may enjoy the parks, go sailing, play tennis, walk the lakefront path, or choose from one of the many seminars or workshops available. In the evenings, you may attend nightly entertainment at Hoover Auditorium, or a movie in the town's old-fashioned movie theater, or simply enjoy the splendid sunsets from the historic pavilion and dock.

Lakeside's official season is from late June to Labor Day, but its off-season ambiance offers the perfect quiet escape. Stones Throw is open year round, so, come and relax where people have been coming for rest and rejuvenation for more than a century.

Guests should note that alcohol is not served in Lakeside establishments.
